Art of the Title is a fantastic site, focusing on the art of the film title sequence. My friend, Alex, says this via email: “It’s relatively new, and only has a handful of films right now, but they post something new fairly often. They go very in depth with each film sequence, usually with an interview and always with a HQ video.”
Can’t ask for more than that from a treasure trove of Awesome.
PLEASE do yourself a favor and check out the Title Sequence for Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (designed by Jamie Caliri). The only thing better are the credits (a link to which I’m still trying to find).

I’m gonna add “exiled-on-Tattooine era Obi-Wan Kenobi” to this list. Ah hell, I’ll tell you: he’s about 6 rows behind Obama’s left shoulder, and looks to be finishing up a healthy sneeze.
This photo has more fur than the January 1974 issue of Playboy Magazine.
Find the following:
- Yo Yo Ma taking a picture with his iPhone.
- Aretha Franklin and Mr. Invisible.
- The man with the biggest head you’ve ever seen.
- Cosby (I can’t find him.)
- Is the Navy photographer clapping? I think he is.
- Clarence Thomas
- Washington State Congressman, Dave Reichert (R) (‘R’ means ineffective jerkface, right?)
- T.D. Jakes
- Waldo
Holy. Shit. Click all the way through and explore.

Obama Over The Rainbow, by Clare and the Reasons. (just one last time.)
“We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.”

(Music = “A Whole New World” from Aladdin. Oh yes, I’m that smitten.)
