In The Doghouse.
Me, upset and absolutely *furious* that she doesn't get it: In *this* country, Anna, we call it 'being in the doghouse'. Just imagine a husband who upsets his wife by forgetting their anniversary and he just doesn't see what the fuss is all about. The wife's completely hurt and angry, see? And she has every *right* to be. Good lord, Anna, haven't you *ever* been put in the doghouse?
