whileyouweresleeping: Oh fuck off, you unimaginative, image-stealing proselytes. Originally, this is the promotional poster for the Bogotá (Colombia) book fair, a few years ago. It means to convey how comforting the written word can be. It was moving, fabulously inventive, and the best illustration of Montesquieu’s famous quote: “ I have never had a sadness that an hour of reading has not lifted away.” If there’s a hell, you can go burn in it, you shameless thieves. — SF, in Paris.
