VACCINES WORK! (Chinatown, San Francisco)
Herd immunity. It’s actually quite simple, and even some Canadians said so.
Okay, but you’re ‘scared’ or you ‘don’t have time’ or you ‘believe in some complete bullshit about vaccines causing autism’ (There’s absolutely no link. It doesn’t.). So, fine, rather than rushing out in a tearful, angry panic to have your precious darlings inoculated, it’s actually extremely important that you as a ‘young parent’ or ‘caring uncle’ or ‘hateful, miserable, drunken babysitter’ go get your flu shot. You’re effectively the front-line barrier between all those sick-ass kids and the rest of the adult population like me and my wife and my mom and my co-workers and my accountant. Even if you don’t show symptoms, it doesn’t mean you can’t spread it around.
So please—for my accountant—get your seasonal flu shot. Now.
