A year ago today—almost to the very minute—Anna dragged me from her flat in London, in the bitter cold, to a place called Primrose Hill. From there, one can see all the lights of the city. She sat me down on a bench, handed me the pocket watch you see here, and asked me to marry her. (Little did she know: I had a ring in my pocket for her, as well.) To this day, I carry the pocket watch everywhere.
Anyway, of course I said yes. Wouldn’t you?
I love you, Anna. Happy Primrose Anniversary.
